The Equity Elevator is a six-part learning experience designed to help organizations confront barriers to equity and build inclusive cultures that thrive. To kick off, we’re launching the first two sessions online, each offering practical strategies and tools for leaders and teams ready to create lasting change.

 

Session 1 : Confronting Complacency

Main Purpose

Confronting Complacency will uncover three common areas of DEI barriers (risk aversion, bystanderism, and reactivity) and offer alternative strategies and tools for uprooting destructive and harmful patterns in leadership and organizational culture.

Session 2 : Emboldening Engagement

Main Purpose 

Focused on values-based approaches to recruitment, hiring, engagement, and retention of staff and volunteers.

  • How to employ those who will make an impact on our ability to succeed in attaining our organization’s missions

  • Finding culture “contributors” vs culture “fit” is key to creating diverse organizations.
