Founder + Equity Strategist

Ashley Oolman, founder & equity strategist of Allied Folk, guides partners through targeted change management, strategy development, and progressive thought leadership. From large organizations to individual allies, she transforms business initiatives and advances equitable community spaces. With more than a decade of leadership experience in advocacy, employment, and workplace culture, she understands how to navigate complex environments and provide actionable insights for growth.

Ashley strives to advance community equity through her previous contributions on a collective impact task force, and continues to serve on a coalition of providers supporting transracially adopted youth to reinforce their development of positive Black identity. In her free time, she enjoys curating events for community members to explore inclusive parenting, BIPOC women’s liberation, and the art of holding space.


Ashley earned an MBA with a concentration on human resource management, a BA in psychology with a minor in human development and family studies, and a certification in organizational diversity & inclusion. Most recently Ashley completed the Josie R. Johnson Leadership Academy, and serves as a volunteer for the YWCA’s Racial Justice Facilitator program. She is committed to inclusion as a means to advance human rights for all people, in all walks of life.

 
 
 

Suzi Hunn

Learning Strategist

Suzi helps build new containers for signature programs for Allied Folk like the Equity Elevator and Inclusion Incubator. By optimizing slide content, developing video lessons, and setting up the digital platform best program delivery.

She founded Teach Your Thing in 2017. Suzi calls her clients loving disruptors, and her mission is to amplify their impact through courses, workshops, and signature talks. Their subject-matter expertise floors her endlessly, and she empowers their work through instructional design.

She loved her 15 years as an educator at the Minnesota Historical Society. Since then, she has developed engaging learning experiences for consultants, practitioners, executive leaders, nonprofits, and corporate franchisees.

In her free time, she prioritizes family and finding time freedom. Suzi spends one month a year in New Mexico, five minutes from her parents, brother and sister-in-law, niece, and extended relatives! She also does an annual cross-country trip with her partner Fred, along with their up-for-anything golden retriever Indy. 

She lives by the mantra, “You have medicine you must own.”

 

Kitana Holland

Creative Strategist + Movement Coach

Kitana is passionate about mental health awareness and wellness through movement. Kitana brings a unique and authentic experience to every space supporting individuals in their healing journey by expressing themselves with their bodies, as a yoga instructor (RYT 200 HR) and sound bowl healer.

She’s had the pleasure of bringing her expertise internationally to places like Thailand and Guatemala.

This connects to her work as a Creative Strategist, she supports socially driven individuals and organizations with vital parts of their businesses so that they can elevate their brands.

She maximizes marketing and branding to bring businesses to life with her services while creating balance in their lives.

Kitana believes that we can have positive mental health without sacrificing our dreams.
