In the United States, we spend $8 billion annually to leverage the power of DEI initiatives, while a vast majority of employees from marginalized groups continue to report lower job satisfaction, feelings of belonging, and career advancement. Though companies are working to tap into diversity and change their culture, many eventually settle into a pattern of only slightly turning the dial. A missing ingredient of DEI strategy is often alignment on intentionality. This session will lead participants through a reflective discussion to redefine “their why” in the area of workplace DEI, so humanity can shine through workplace practices and give initiatives a boost. Come to discover the path to advancing strategic goals and workplace equity, by getting real about our intentions to transform culture and what needs to adjust to make it a reality. Together we’ll embrace how our work must remain human in an ever increasing calculated and digital world.
